Fishers in the Forest Arrives: Sequoia and Kings Canyon Children’s Book Shipped to Pre-Orders

We are thrilled to announce that our newest children’s book, Fishers in the Forest, has arrived from the printers!. This is the third title in our Bringing National Parks to Life series, written by Adalgisa and David Nico and illustrated by Andy Atkins.

Fishers in the Forest takes readers deep into Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks to discover the Pacific fisher. This elusive forest animal plays a vital role in maintaining the ecosystem's health. Through vivid storytelling and beautiful illustrations, this book invites children and families to explore these iconic parks while learning about wildlife conservation and the importance of caring for our environment.

We are pleased to announce that all pre-orders have now been shipped. Our early readers will soon be opening their packages and meeting the Pacific fisher for the first time. Each copy represents a journey of care, from research and collaboration with scientists and park experts to the moment the story lands in a child’s hands.

There’s nothing quite like holding a new book for the first time. The colors, textures, and excitement remind us why we tell these stories: to help children see the beauty and wonder of nature and to encourage stewardship of the wild places that belong to us all.

If you loved Frogs on the Mountain or Fish in the Desert, you’ll find this new story just as full of discovery, science, and heart. Soon, Fishers in the Forest will be available through bookstores, gift shops, and online retailers.

Thank you to everyone who supported this release and helped bring another national park story to life.
