Fishers in the Forest Makes the NatGen Green Earth Book Award Shortlist — Winners Announced Earth Day

Our book, Fishers in the Forest, is on the shortlist for the 2026 Green Earth Book Awards from The Nature Generation! We are ecstatic!

We weren't sure we'd get this far. The competition this year is fierce. There so many beautiful books on that list! Congratulations to everyone!

The Green Earth Book Award has been recognizing the best in environmental literature for kids since 2004. The judges are educators, librarians, and authors who take this seriously. They are looking for books that connect young readers to the natural world, not just books that tick a box.

The winners are announced on Earth Day, April 22. We'll be watching. Whatever happens, being on that shortlist is an absolute honor!
