Junior Refuge Ranger Day at Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge

We are thrilled to have been asked to be part of Junior Refuge Ranger Day at Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge.

Being invited into the refuge where our story is set is especially meaningful. Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is a rare desert wetland, shaped by water, time, and careful stewardship.

Junior Refuge Ranger Day at Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge is designed to help children connect with the land. The refuge staff leads hands-on activities that teach kids about the plants, animals, and water systems that make Ash Meadows unique.

Gisa will be at Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge signing books and spending time with families throughout Junior Refuge Ranger Day. We are grateful to the Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge staff for the invitation and for their ongoing work protecting this extraordinary ecosystem. When children spend time outdoors, they develop a connection with it and take care of it.
