Three Children’s Author Readings on Climate Optimism at Westwood Greenway

This Sunday, June 28th, bring the kids to Westwood Greenway for a morning of stories and environmental optimism. Earth Friends is hosting three children's author readings from 10 am to noon. Each book approaches the natural world with curiosity!

Featured titles:

  • Hello Earth Club

  • Do You Speak Bee?

  • Fishers in the Forest: The Pacific Fishers in Sequoia and Kings Canyon

Westwood Greenway runs directly alongside the Metro E Line, and the Westwood/Rancho Park Station is steps from the park's north gate. You can step off the train and walk in.

The E Line runs from Downtown Los Angeles all the way to Santa Monica, making this accessible from a huge stretch of the city without having to deal with parking or traffic on a Sunday morning.

Coming from the Westside or Santa Monica? Big Blue Bus Routes 8 and R12 also stop right at Westwood and Exposition. Coming from Culver City? Culver CityBus Line 3 connects directly as well.

Getting there by transit fits the spirit of the event.
