Boxes of Tortoises on the Trail were delivered this week. We opened the first one right there in the driveway. Tortoises on the Trail is Book 4 in our Bringing National Parks to Life series, set in Joshua Tree National Park and centered on the desert tortoise. Adele and her friend, JD meet one in the middle of the road and learn why this slow, tough animal is struggling to survive in the desert.

All pre-orders shipped this week. If you ordered early, it's already on the way.

Copies are available on our website. We hope it ends up in a backpack, read aloud at story time, or open in the back seat on a drive out to the park.
